I don’t talk about it much. Gotta figure that since it’s impossible for me to walk a mile in another shoes, who am I to understand the depth with which generations of lives have been affected?
However, I do have eyes. And my heart can feel the presence in the purity of a spirit that began long before I was born and did not end one fateful April day.
I can know without exception that I would not have the amazing life I have today without Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., his legacy and the lives his message of truth helped shape.
Just wanted to say thanks for that and hope I can live my life in a way that honors his universal message of peace, equality and love.
