The smell of pizza and fresh baked cookies blended with floor cleaner and over heated motors. The tables were sparsely scattered with a smattering of people. Old arcade-style games and a plastic tunnel course crowded the back wall. Tiny, rickety roller coasters and bumper cars eked their way around the tracks.

It was not much of an entertainment venue by today’s high tech standards, but that didn’t matter.

It doesn’t take much to have fun when you are with friends – a little pizza, a few cookies, running around and maybe a prize at the end.

For the moms, the fun was in seeing their smiling faces as they ran from place to place and having a few minutes while they were occupied to chat with another grown-up.

No better way to spend a Friday night!
