If e really does = mc2, then I wonder what the exact mass-energy equivalence is for my existence today.
Not an overall journeyman’s “today” but just for the actual day.
Feels pretty imbalanced.

At least I’m sentencing something.
The room wafts with laughter from two kids who normally pride themselves in annoying each other. They have found a common interest.
And for now – they are trading funny jokes and cheering each other on.
For now.
I am sure something will jolt them out of this bliss soon.
But not me – the joy that overflows my heart to hear our children giggling as friends and not enemies may be enough to get through until the next time they like each other.
